Chelsea Torres is a proud wife, mother, blogger, and social media professional. A DMV native, she currently resides in Prince George’s County, MD with her husband Chris, and their two beautiful daughters Celina and Cari.

She is an alumna of the illustrious Hampton University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in print journalism in 2011, and the University of Maryland, where she obtained her master's degree in multi-platform journalism in 2012. Currently, Chelsea works as a social media strategist at AARP, focusing on nurturing and expanding the organization’s audience within the Black community.

An active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Chelsea demonstrates a steadfast commitment to sisterhood and service. With over a decade of pageantry experience, including titles such as Miss DC US International, Mrs. Maryland USA Earth, and being a Miss World America national finalist, Chelsea's crowning achievement as Mrs. Black United States 2024 is a testament to her dedication and perseverance.

Chelsea's dedication to uplifting her community extends beyond her professional and pageant endeavors. She continues to make a positive impact through volunteer work with organizations like DC Central Kitchen and the Maryland Food Bank. In her leisure time, Chelsea enjoys creating lasting memories with her family, maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and documenting her experiences of motherhood on her blog, chelseacarlita.com. As she embarks on her reign, Chelsea Torres is determined to inspire and empower others, leaving an indelible mark as Mrs. Black United States 2024.
