DIVISIONS

TEEN

• be at least 15 years old and under 20 years old, unmarried, and never have given birth as of the date a preliminary/local/state title is awarded and throughout their reign as a state and/or national titleholder, if applicable, to participate in the TEEN division.

MISS

• be at least 20 years old and under 29 years old, single, never married, and never have given birth as of the date a preliminary/local/state title is awarded and throughout their reign as a state and/or national titleholder, if applicable, to participate in the MISS division.

MS

• be at least 21 years old, may have given birth/have children, not legally married, and may be divorced or widowed as of the date a preliminary/local/state/national title is awarded to participate in the MS division. Winners of the national MS title are permitted to marry during their reign as long as the date of marriage is within the last 3 months of the reign as Ms. Black United States®.

MRS

• be at least 21 years old, legally married and living with spouse, NOT in the process of separation and/or divorce as of the date a preliminary/local/state title is awarded AND throughout the entire reign of a state and/or the national title, if applicable, to participate in the MRS division. Winners of the Mrs. Black United States® title that file for divorce during their reign will immediately, as of the date of filing, forfeit the title and all prizes to the runner-up.
